The Air Jordan 22 (XX2 or XXII) PE - Seattle Supersonics (White / Forest Green - Varsity Maize) were released on October 6, 2007, and retailed for $150. They feature a white leather upper, with white patent leather around the base of the upper. They also feature green and yellow accents, which are the official colors of the Seattle Supersonics, hence the dubbed nickname. The side panel features a Seattle print across it, along with the citys skyline. This skyline is so easily known as it is highlighted by the famous space needle. They were part of a regional release, in which each citys version of the Air Jordan 22 (XXII) was exclusive to that particular city. Other features include a strap around the ankle area, phylon midsole, as well as an improved and color coded version of the IPS (Independent Podular Suspension) system, previously seen on other models, which can be viewed on the outsole as those green and white shapes.
